Annelie is an experienced EHS practitioner for approximately 15 years. She also has 8 years experience as a fire fighter and Advanced Emergency Assistant.
With a thorough understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, associated Regulations and other safety and health related legislation as well as Environmental Legislation, coupled with her practical experience, she has been able to demonstrate the ability to apply her experience to new levels of success within the EHS field.
She has gained sound experience in developing, implementing and managing EHS Management Systems and have also developed strong practical knowledge in process safety and within the manufacturing environment. Additionally, managing an integrated EHS system has allowed her to acquire a thorough understanding and extensive auditing experience on international SHERQ Standards i.e. ISO 22 000, ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 45001: 2018.
After obtaining her National Diploma in Safety Management, she further supplemented her academic knowledge with additional HSE qualifications including but not limited to NEBOSH (General Certificate), ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, HAZMAT, Risk Assessments, Incident Investigation and Integrated Lead Auditing (including ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 45001: 2018).
